Welcome, I'm Andrew and I write things down
Hey friend,
Thank you so much for visiting my site. I’m genuinely glad you’re here.
I’m Andrew, a Canadian dad doing life in a small town near London, Ontario who spends way too much time negotiating with squirrels, dodging dive-bombing robins, and turning that everyday backyard chaos and home life into stories, poems, and sketches that end up in films or church stages for 231 Worship (formerly The Skit Guys).
I also make films with my brothers (from the same mother) Matt and Dan. Our studio is called Unveil, known for Daniel: The Fiery Furnace and She Has A Name (and more awesome, epic stories to come).
As a thank-you for visitin, here’s a free welcome gift I made for people just like you:
Inside you’ll find 10 real-life Author Dad Codes: short, practical wisdom from my backyard and family moments. It includes the faith reflections and creative prompts that turn dadlife into the scripts churches perform every Sunday.
I hope it makes you laugh, encourages you, and reminds you that God shows up in the messiest, most ordinary places.
That’s what you can expect if you subscribe to my newsletter. You’ll get stories of faith from the frontlines of life with kids as I pursue creativity. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to subscribe.
I’d love to hear from you!
You can reply anytime and tell me: What’s one “chaos in normal life” moment you’ve faced lately?
Looking forward to sharing more with you each week.
Gratefully,
Andrew Kooman

P.S. New issues drop weekly — expect more Bird Cam Diaries, Author Dad Codes, faith reflections, and behind-the-scenes from the plays I write for churches.
