Poetry is What We Are
From Babbel to Calvary to Jerusalem
poema is a Greek word that means fabric, product, creation, poetry.
It's the word the apostle Paul uses to describe us in Ephesians. You are God's poema, his workmanship.
This is deeply meaningful to me. And I think about it from time to time. One way was to write a poem about it.
I may be pushing my luck, but since my long poem about Solomon was so well received last week, I thought I'd share this longish poem inspired by that phrase.
I hope you find it playful and provoking.
